One of my keys to success as a project manager was a lazy streak which drove me to find ways of doing things in less time and with
less effort than others. Most of these "methods" were facilitated starting in 1981 by the introduction of the IBM PC into the workplace.
Over
time I started developing productivity enhancement tools for project and office management and execution. These tools typically consisted
of templates or spreadsheet files designed to work within Microsoft's family of Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, etc). A number
of tools, however were also developed as stand-alone programs using Microsoft Visual Basic.
If there is a task that your employees
do day-in and day-out within a Microsoft Office application I can automate the task for you to eliminate the tedium, speed the process
and improve the quality of the data.
If you have a form that is currently being filled in by hand, I can create it as a template
within Word or Excel so that it can be filled in via the keyboard. I can also add routines to validate the data as it is being entered
into the form.
I can also create a "stand-alone" application to automate tasks which may not involve Word or Excel forms.
