The exposition will be held in the Rollins College Alfond Sports Center. The judges meeting room is the McKean Gym, located on the 2nd Floor of the Alfond Sport Center.

Location

The Alfond Sports Center is located on Chase Ave as shown below in the map.

Parking

There are 75 spaces available for judges in the parking lot in front of the Alfond Sports Center. These will be available on a first-come – first-served basis. Since we expect over 100 judges this means that not everyone will be able to park at the Sports Center lot. For those that arrive after the lot has been filled up Rollins College security personnel will direct you to the Sun Bank/Rollins parking garage located on Lyman Ave. and will give you a voucher for free parking in the parking garage.

Those that will have to park in the parking garage will need a few extra minutes to enter, park and then walk the two blocks to the Alfond Sports Center. So please either arrive early or else allow for the 10-15 minutes it will take you to walk from the parking garage to the Sports Center.

Directions

Rollins College requests that judges use Holt Ave. to get to Chase Ave. so that you arrive from the south (i.e. please do not turn onto Chase Ave. directly from Fairbanks Ave.) The directions below start from the corner of Fairbanks and Park Ave. If you come from the east (SR 436 side) you will turn left onto Park Ave. If you come from the west (I-4 side) you will turn right onto Park Ave.

To reach Alfond Sports Center by car follow yellow dashed line:

  • turn south onto S. Park Ave; turn left at the stop sign, Holt Ave;

  • turn left at the second stop sign, Chase Ave; the center parking lot is on your right.

To reach the Sun Trust parking garage:

  • turn north onto Park Ave;

  • turn right at the first traffic light, Lyman Ave.; the garage is on your right side.

To walk from the garage to the Alfond Sports Center follow the white dashed line:

  • Exit the garage on the Fairbanks (south) side;

  • use the pedestrian crosswalk to cross Fairbanks Avenue and follow the sidewalk to the left;

  • at the fork, follow the sidewalk to the right and walk between the Bush Science Center and Bush Executive Center;

  • when you reach the far end of the Bush Executive Center, follow the sidewalk to the left; the Alfond Sports Center is straight ahead, across the crossroad (Chase Avenue).

Driving Directions to the Alfond Sports Center Lot

From I-4: Take Exit 87, Fairbanks Avenue east approximately 2 miles to the intersection of Fairbanks and Park Avenues. Turn right at Park Avenue; turn left at the first stop sign, Holt Avenue. Turn left at the second stop sign, Chase Avenue. The Alfond Sports Center parking lot is on your right.

From SR 417 (the Greenway): Take Exit 38, Aloma Avenue west into downtown Winter Park. (Aloma becomes Fairbanks Avenue.) Turn left at Park Avenue; turn left at the first stop sign, Holt Avenue. Turn left at the second stop sign, Chase Avenue. The Alfond Sports Center parking lot is on your right.

From Orlando International Airport: Take the airport’s north exit, (SR 436/Semoran Boulevard). Continue north to Aloma Avenue. Turn left on Aloma Avenue and drive to downtown Winter Park. (Aloma becomes Fairbanks Avenue.) Turn left at Park Avenue; turn left at the first stop sign, Holt Avenue. Turn left at the second stop sign, Chase Avenue. The Alfond Sports Center parking lot is on your right.
